Before your massage:
Whether you have a specific health condition or are taking medication for high / low blood pressure or just looking for a stress reliever please ensure you share this information with us, in your consent form. Most people can benefit from massage , However, massage is not appropriate without a Drs consent letter if you have any of the following :
Bleeding disorders.
Take blood thinning medication.
Burns or healing wounds
Deep vein thrombosis
After major surgery
Fractures
Severe osteoporosis
Severe thrombocytopenia
A sensitive pregnancy
After a massage:
Some types of massage can leave you feeling a little sore the next day.The pressure during a massage treatment should not be painful as such, often an area needs more manipulation then others to release the sprain or tension but this should always feel within a comfortable level. Our clients feel energised and very relaxed after our massages.
